Cookie - Troop

Information for the Cookie Program

Council is aware of the issues with ABC yesterday. If you had trouble placing a planned order, please enter one for next week. It will be in ABC and the cupboard manager can change the date to when you pickup this week. Planned orders help the cupboards know what quantities need to transferred to meet demand.

Do you need more cookies? Check in with your community to see if a troop has too many cookies and do a troop-to-troop transfer. If you still need cookies beyond local troops, we're happy to share a special consignment pickup for the end of the 2026 cookie season during March 11–21. Unsold packages of cookies picked up during these two weeks on consignment can be returned to the Girl Scout Center and Houston-area cupboards the week of March 23. Check the Online Community for more details on this opportunity.

How does the consignment cookie option work?

You take cookies on consignment from the cookie cupboards for your troop's final cookie needs. The minimum is one case per order. The maximum is 24 cases per troop with a three-case limit subject to availability by variety at each cupboard. Consignment is done in full cases only. Troops may pick up cases over the consignment limit as regular first-come, first-served orders.

Unsold packages of cookies picked up during these two weeks on consignment can be returned to the Girl Scout Center and Houston-area cupboards the week of March 23. Stay tuned for cupboard times and dates.

Troops are financially responsible for unreturned cookies. The adult returning cookies to the cupboard should have the original receipt received at pick up or a picture of it.

FAQs

Is a cupboard PIN still needed at the cupboard? Yes!

Can I return a partial case for consignment cookies? Yes. Undamaged packages of cookies of the same variety issued from the cupboard from March 11–21 can be returned to the cupboard the week of March 23 (see specific cupboard information above).

Will I get a receipt? Yes. Our cupboard managers will give you a receipt for cookies picked up as consignment cookies. They will also note on your order in Smart Cookies if the cookies were picked up under the consignment cookie option.

Why is there a minimum and maximum package or case limit? Minimum limits ensure more efficient order processing for our cupboard managers. Maximum limits ensure that all troops can opt in to the consignment promotion.

If I placed a planned order, can I still take advantage of a consignment order? Yes. You can take planned order cookies as consignment cookies up to the limits, or increase your planned order with additional consignment cookies.

Can I return consignment cookies to a cupboard other than the one where I picked up the cookies? Yes. Be sure to have your receipt.

What if I pick up an additional order during consignment? Would I be eligible to return all cookies from all additional orders? You can come to the cupboard as often as you need the next two weeks, but the maximum available to return would be up to three cases per variety that your troop picked up during March 11–21.

We still have booth opportunities left in the program. Grab your cookies at the cupboard nearest you and remind customers this is the last week to enjoy America’s favorite cookies!

Welcome to the 2026 cookie program!

Brave. Fierce. Fun.

Every year, thousands of girls across our council get ready to participate in one of our most anticipated times of the year - Girl Scout Cookie season! The Cookie program is about so much more than cookies. It’s about the girls and supporting their leadership journey. It’s about providing troops with funds to pay for activities or service projects that make our world a better place. And for our council, it’s about ensuring Girl Scouting continues to thrive in our community.

As a troop cookie manager, we hope you will use this site as a resource and find everything you need to make your experience as positive as possible. We also encourage you to sign up for cookie program announcements by texting "Join" to 281-324-8760. The council will send updates, reminders, and tips to TCMs throughout the cookie season if you have opted-in to receive text messaging.

Thank you for offering your time and talent so girls can participate in this wonderful tradition. Together, we can make her future brighter!
