Starting Inventory Order (SIO)

We highly encourage troops to adopt the best practice of placing a starting inventory order (SIO). We recommend at least 75% of the troops prior year's sale as a starting benchmark along with input from your girls' parents. Here are reasons why placing your SIO is important:

It's easy to place and efficient to pick up!
Girls can start selling Feb. 8 with cookies in hand.
While the cupboards are convenient, they are very busy the first two weeks of the sale.
You are assured to get the varieties you want the girls to have at the beginning of the sale.
Fewer trips to the cupboard.
Avoid possible shipping delays that may impact cupboard inventory.

Girl and Parent SIO Worksheet
Girls and parents can utilize this Initial Order Worksheet to generate order possibilities.

New Troop SIO Worksheet
New troops can utilize the New Troop SIO Worksheet to generate order possibilities based on the previous orders placed in their community at the same girl level.

Returning Troop SIO Worksheet
Returning troops may utilize the Returning Troop SIO Worksheet to generate order possibilities based on the previous year's sales.

To place your starting inventory order by January 10, 2025:

Log into www.abcsmartcookies.com.
Hover over the Orders tab, click on Troop Initial Order.
Enter the total of each variety by case.
Additional cases can be ordered for upcoming cookie booths/extras by adding to the total cases by variety.
Toggle the Ready for Review switch on.
Click the "Save" box to save the order.
Once the initial cookie order is saved, confirm your delivery location.
Note: Gluten Free will not be an option for the Troop Initial Order/Starting Inventory Order. Gluten Free will be sold exclusively online.

SIO Reward

And there is a reward! Additionally, troops ordering 75% or more of previous year's sales will earn a voucher to shop on our pre-selected storefront. Use your voucher to buy items to support your troop and have it shipped directly to your home!
