Starting Inventory Order (SIO)

We highly encourage troops to adopt the best practice of placing a starting inventory order (SIO). We recommend at least 75% of the troops prior year's sale as a starting benchmark along with input from your girls' parents. Here are reasons why placing your SIO is important:

It's easy to place and pick up.
Girls can start the cookie program with cookies in hand on Feb. 6.
Fewer cupboard trips: cupboards are convenient, but they're busiest during the first two weeks of the program.
Guaranteed cookie variety availability at start of the program.

Troops meeting the 75% benchmark will earn a voucher to shop at a pre-selected storefront on Amazon with items shipped to the address of your choice!

New troops can use the New Troop SIO Worksheet; returning troops can use the Returning Troop SIO Worksheet.

Girls and parents can utilize this Initial Order Worksheet to generate order possibilities.

Returning troops may utilize the Returning Troop SIO Worksheet to generate order possibilities based on the previous year's sales.

To place your starting inventory order by January 8, 2027:

Log into www.abcsmartcookies.com.
Hover over the Orders tab, click on Troop Initial Order.
Enter the total of each variety by case.
Additional cases can be ordered for upcoming cookie booths/extras by adding to the total cases by variety.
Toggle the Ready for Review switch on.
Click the "Save" box to save the order.
Once the initial cookie order is saved, confirm your delivery location.
Note: Gluten Free will not be an option for the Troop Initial Order/Starting Inventory Order. Gluten Free will be sold exclusively online.
