Brownie Leader Resources
Girl Scouts in the Brownie® program are ready to take on the world, and Girl Scouts lets them do just that!

Please see the attached updated emergency procedures documents. These can also be found in the Forms and Documents section of our website. • O-73A Emergency Action Plan - An EAP is required by Safety Activity Checkpoints for all Girl Scout activities. This checklist makes it easier to do. • O-73B Emergency Wallet Card - This has been updated and has a new form number. • O-73C Incident Report - Newly created report to be used to report any incident involving a girl or volunteer, whether it is major or minor. • O-73D Emergency Procedures - Updated procedures to be used in the case of serious, accident, emergency, or fatality.

Girl Scouts of all generations love the song Make New Friends but Keep The Old and here’s a chance to earn a FREE Friendship patch by doing just as this classic tune teaches us. Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council is asking girls to expand their friendship circle by either inviting new girls to join their troop or by asking a lapsed troop member to return. Girls will receive a FREE Friendship patch by having either a new friend or a returning troop member join their troop from October 18th through November 30th. In addition, we’ll also be giving out fun prizes for troops who add two or more girls. Be sure to keep an eye our website, social media pages and the Online Community for more information. Use the attached document to access the Google form survey to claim your patch. Also attached is an invitation for girls to use.

Welcome Brownie Troop Leaders

Thank you SO MUCH for volunteering as a Girl Scout troop leader!

We’re excited to have you on board! As a Girl Scout volunteer, you’re building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.Pretty big feat, right? No fear – we created this community just for troop leaders with helpful advice on getting your troop going, learning Girl Scout lingo, and leading with gusto! Plus, we have some tips from troop leaders who have been in your shoes before.

Whether you’ve been a Girl Scout since you were in kindergarten or this is your first introduction to the organization, we hope this community will provide you with useful information for your journey as a troop leader. Feel free to read through the pages and files for what you need right now, and bookmark for future reference and updates. You’ll learn more about Girl Scouts throughout the groups in this community, but always keep in mind that we’re a resource at Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council! We always love to hear from you – feel free to give us a call at 1-800-392-4340 or email us at
