ABOUT The emerald circle

The Emerald Circle, a membership organization within GSSJC, is dedicated to providing college scholarships to qualified Ambassador Girl Scouts who have earned Girl Scouting’s highest award, the Gold Award, and have been selected through a scholarship application process.

Founded in 1992, The Emerald Circle has granted 486 scholarships totaling $660,000 to Girl Scouts who have earned the Gold Award.

Money for scholarships is raised through membership fees; individual, group and corporate donations; and interest from The Emerald Circle Scholarship Endowment Fund.
